filvet Privacy Policy
At filvet, your privacy matters as much as your gaming experience. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal data we collect from Filipino players, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you hold under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Your Privacy at a Glance
Six core principles that define how filvet handles your personal information — transparently, securely, and in full compliance with Philippine law.
filvet employs AES-256 encryption, TLS 1.3 in transit, and strict internal access controls to ensure your personal and financial data is protected at every layer of our platform infrastructure.
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data held by filvet. Submit a data subject request anytime via our support team.
filvet never sells, rents, or trades your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to deliver and improve your filvet gaming experience.
We collect only the personal data that is strictly necessary for account registration, KYC verification, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. Nothing more, nothing less.
All data handling practices at filvet are aligned with both PAGCOR licensing requirements and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) registration and compliance obligations for personal information controllers.
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting your information, filvet will notify the NPC within 72 hours of discovery and inform affected players without undue delay, as required under RA 10173.

Who We Are
filvet is a PAGCOR-regulated online gaming operator serving Filipino players across the Philippines — from Metro Manila and Cebu to Davao, Quezon City, Makati, and beyond. We operate the gaming platform accessible at filvet.net and all associated subdomains and applications (collectively, the "Platform").
For the purposes of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, filvet acts as the Personal Information Controller (PIC) in respect of all personal data collected from players and visitors to the Platform. As a PIC, filvet determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and bears full accountability for ensuring that processing is lawful, fair, and transparent.
filvet has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing compliance with RA 10173 and this Privacy Policy. Contact details for the DPO are provided in Section 15 of this Policy.
Scope of This Policy: This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected from registered players, prospective players who browse the Platform without registering, and any individual who contacts filvet through our support channels. It does not apply to third-party websites or services linked from the Platform.

How We Collect Your Data
filvet collects your personal data through the following channels and mechanisms:
3.1 Direct Collection
You provide data directly to filvet when you register an Account on the Platform, complete our KYC verification process, make a deposit or withdrawal request, contact our customer support team via live chat or email, opt in to marketing communications, respond to surveys or promotions, or update your Account profile settings. All data you provide directly is submitted voluntarily, though certain data is mandatory for Account creation, KYC compliance, and payment processing.
3.2 Automated Collection
When you visit or use the filvet Platform, certain technical data is collected automatically through cookies, web beacons, server logs, and similar tracking technologies. This includes your IP address, device and browser identifiers, session activity logs, and approximate geolocation derived from your IP address. For further detail on our use of cookies and tracking technologies, see Section 6 of this Policy.
3.3 Third-Party Collection
filvet may receive personal data about you from the following third-party sources, where lawfully permitted:
- Payment processors: GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank, 7-Eleven PESONet/InstaPay networks, and Coins.ph may share transaction confirmation data with filvet to complete deposit and withdrawal processing.
- KYC / identity verification providers: Third-party KYC service providers engaged by filvet may share identity verification outcomes and document authentication results with us.
- Fraud and AML screening services: filvet uses third-party fraud detection and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening services that may provide risk signals or watchlist match data in connection with your Account.
- PAGCOR and regulatory bodies: In certain circumstances, PAGCOR or other Philippine regulatory bodies may share information relevant to licensing compliance with filvet.
Why We Use Your Personal Data
filvet processes your personal data for the following specific purposes. We process only the minimum data necessary for each stated purpose in accordance with the data minimisation principle under RA 10173.
- Account registration and management: To create, verify, and maintain your filvet Account, enforce our one-account-per-player policy, and provide you with access to all Platform features.
- KYC and age verification: To verify your identity and confirm that you are at least 21 years of age, as required by Philippine gaming law and PAGCOR licensing conditions. This is a mandatory legal compliance obligation.
- Payment processing: To process deposits, settle wager winnings, and fulfil withdrawal requests via your chosen payment method (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank, 7-Eleven, USDT TRC20, or Coins.ph).
- Platform operation and personalisation: To deliver the gaming services you have requested, personalise your in-platform experience, recommend relevant games and promotions, and maintain accurate game session records.
- Bonus and promotion administration: To determine your eligibility for bonuses and promotions, track wagering requirement fulfilment, and prevent bonus abuse.
- Customer support: To respond to your enquiries, resolve disputes, and provide assistance with Account, payment, and gameplay issues.
- Fraud prevention and security: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, multiple Account registration, unauthorised access, money laundering, and other prohibited conduct on the Platform.
- Regulatory compliance and reporting: To comply with our obligations under the PAGCOR Charter (PD 1869), the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160, as amended), RA 10173, and all applicable PAGCOR regulatory issuances — including the submission of mandatory reports to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC).
- Responsible gaming: To administer responsible gaming tools (deposit limits, self-exclusion, cooling-off periods), monitor for signs of problem gambling behaviour, and fulfil our duty of care obligations to players.
- Marketing communications: To send you promotional offers, new game announcements, and platform updates where you have provided explicit consent to receive such communications. You may withdraw your marketing consent at any time via your Account settings.
- Platform analytics and improvement: To analyse aggregate usage patterns, identify technical issues, improve Platform performance, and develop new features and services.
Legal Bases for Processing
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, filvet relies on the following legal bases for processing your personal data:
| Processing Purpose | Legal Basis (RA 10173) |
|---|---|
| Account registration, payment processing, gameplay delivery | Performance of a contract — processing is necessary to fulfil our obligations to you as a registered player under the filvet Terms & Conditions |
| KYC / age verification, AML compliance, PAGCOR reporting | Legal obligation — processing is required to comply with PAGCOR licensing conditions, RA 9160 (AMLA), and RA 10173 |
| Fraud detection, security monitoring, responsible gaming | Legitimate interests — filvet has a legitimate interest in protecting the integrity of the Platform, preventing financial crime, and fulfilling its duty of care to players |
| Marketing communications and personalised promotions | Consent — processing is based on your explicit opt-in consent, which you may withdraw at any time |
| Platform analytics and service improvement | Legitimate interests — filvet has a legitimate interest in improving its platform and services using aggregated, pseudonymised usage data |
Withdrawing Consent: Where filvet relies on your consent as the legal basis for processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent for marketing communications can be done directly from your Account settings or by contacting [email protected].
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The filvet Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enable essential Platform functionality, improve your browsing experience, support our fraud-prevention systems, and — where you have provided consent — deliver relevant promotional content. The categories of cookies we use are described below:
6.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function correctly. They enable core features such as secure login session management, shopping cart and cashier functionality, load balancing, and security token validation. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without severely impairing your ability to use the Platform. No consent is required for these cookies under applicable law.
6.2 Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow the Platform to remember your preferences and settings — such as your preferred language, notification preferences, and responsible gaming tool configurations — so you do not need to re-enter them on each visit.
6.3 Performance & Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect anonymised or pseudonymised data about how visitors use the Platform — including which pages are visited most frequently, how long sessions last, and where technical errors occur. This data is used solely to improve Platform performance and the overall player experience. No personally identifiable information is transmitted via performance cookies.
6.4 Managing Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to refuse some or all non-essential cookies, delete existing cookies, and set alerts when new cookies are placed. Note that disabling certain categories of cookies may limit the functionality available to you on the filvet Platform. filvet does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies for external advertising networks.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
filvet does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own independent marketing or commercial purposes. We may, however, share your personal data with the following categories of recipients where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Payment processing partners: GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank, 7-Eleven (PESONet/InstaPay), USDT TRC20 processing services, and Coins.ph receive the minimum personal and financial data required to process deposit and withdrawal transactions on your behalf.
- KYC and identity verification providers: Third-party KYC service providers engaged by filvet receive identity documents and personal identifiers solely for the purpose of verifying your identity and age, as required by PAGCOR licensing conditions.
- Fraud detection and AML compliance providers: filvet engages specialist third-party services to assist with fraud detection, risk scoring, and Anti-Money Laundering screening. These providers process personal data only on filvet's behalf and under strict data processing agreements.
- IT and infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting, platform infrastructure, and cybersecurity service providers may process personal data as part of delivering and securing the Platform. All such providers are bound by contractual data protection obligations.
- PAGCOR and the AMLC: filvet is legally required to submit certain player data and transaction reports to PAGCOR and the Anti-Money Laundering Council in fulfilment of its licensing and AML/CFT compliance obligations. Such disclosures are mandatory and are not within filvet's discretion.
- Law enforcement and courts: filvet may disclose personal data to Philippine law enforcement authorities, courts, or other government bodies where required by law, court order, or legal process, or where filvet has a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, protect the safety of players or staff, or enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- Corporate successors: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of filvet's assets, player personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same data protection obligations as set out in this Policy. Affected players will be notified of any such transfer in advance.
Data Processing Agreements: All third parties that process personal data on filvet's behalf are required to enter into data processing agreements that impose obligations equivalent to those required of filvet under RA 10173. filvet does not engage data processors that cannot demonstrate adequate data protection standards.
International Data Transfers
The filvet Platform is operated from and primarily serves users within the Philippines. However, certain service providers engaged by filvet — including cloud infrastructure providers, KYC platforms, and fraud detection services — may process personal data in data centres located outside the Philippines.
Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, filvet ensures that such transfers comply with RA 10173 and the NPC's cross-border transfer rules. Specifically, filvet relies on one or more of the following safeguards:
- The recipient country is recognised by the NPC as providing an adequate level of data protection;
- The transfer is subject to binding contractual data protection clauses that impose obligations on the recipient equivalent to those under RA 10173;
- The transfer is covered by binding corporate rules or equivalent intra-group data protection frameworks; or
- The transfer is necessary for the performance of your Account services or the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
You may request further information about the specific safeguards applicable to any international transfer of your personal data by contacting our Data Protection Officer at the details provided in Section 15.
Data Retention
filvet retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The table below sets out our standard data retention periods by data category:
| Data Category | Retention Period | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Account identity and KYC records | 5 years after Account closure | PAGCOR licensing requirement and RA 9160 (AMLA) |
| Financial transaction records | 5 years after transaction date | RA 9160 (AMLA) mandatory retention |
| Gaming activity and session logs | 3 years after Account closure | PAGCOR licensing and dispute resolution |
| Customer support communications | 2 years after case closure | Legitimate interests (dispute resolution) |
| Marketing preferences and consent records | Until consent withdrawn + 1 year | RA 10173 accountability requirement |
| Technical / server log data | 12 months | Security and fraud detection |
| Fraud investigation records | 7 years | Legal proceedings and regulatory cooperation |
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with filvet's data disposal procedures. Where anonymised data is retained for analytical purposes, it no longer constitutes personal data and is not subject to the protections described in this Policy.

- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing, or where processing was unlawful. Note that filvet may be required to retain certain data beyond your erasure request to comply with PAGCOR and AML regulatory obligations.
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to request that filvet transmit that data to another personal information controller where technically feasible.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where filvet relies on legitimate interests as the legal basis, and where you believe your fundamental rights and freedoms override those interests. You may also object at any time to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

Children & Minors
The filvet Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and above, in accordance with Philippine gaming law. filvet does not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal data from individuals under the age of 21.
During registration, all players are required to confirm that they are at least 21 years of age and to complete identity verification that confirms their date of birth. Any Account found to have been registered by a person under 21 years of age will be immediately suspended and all associated data will be securely deleted, except where retention is required by applicable law.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a minor in your care has registered on the filvet Platform, please contact our Data Protection Officer immediately at [email protected]. filvet will investigate and act on all such reports as a matter of priority.
Security Measures
filvet implements a comprehensive set of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. Our security framework includes, but is not limited to, the following safeguards:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your device and the filvet Platform is encrypted using TLS 1.3 protocols. Connections over unencrypted HTTP are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive personal data and financial records stored in filvet's databases are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption standards.
- Access controls: Access to personal data within filvet's systems is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis. All internal access is controlled through role-based access management, multi-factor authentication, and comprehensive audit logging.
- Network security: filvet's infrastructure is protected by enterprise-grade firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and continuous network monitoring for anomalous activity.
- Penetration testing: filvet conducts regular third-party penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of its Platform infrastructure to identify and remediate security weaknesses before they can be exploited.
- Staff training: All filvet employees who handle personal data undergo mandatory data privacy and security training upon onboarding and on a regular ongoing basis. Staff are bound by confidentiality obligations and disciplinary policies relating to data handling.
- Incident response: filvet maintains a documented personal data breach response procedure that ensures rapid detection, containment, and notification in compliance with the 72-hour breach notification requirement under RA 10173.
Your Role in Security: While filvet maintains robust security measures on our end, the security of your Account also depends on the choices you make. We strongly recommend using a unique, strong password for your filvet Account, enabling two-factor authentication where available, and never sharing your login credentials or one-time PINs with any third party — including anyone claiming to represent filvet. filvet staff will never ask for your password.
Third-Party Links
The filvet Platform may contain references to third-party services such as payment providers and regulatory bodies. This Privacy Policy applies solely to personal data collected and processed by filvet through the Platform. filvet is not responsible for the privacy practices, data handling procedures, or content of any third-party services, websites, or platforms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with your filvet Account, including your payment provider's privacy notice.
Policy Amendments
filvet reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, or Platform features. The revised Privacy Policy will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
Where changes are material — meaning they significantly affect your rights or the way filvet processes your personal data — filvet will provide prominent notice to registered players via email to the address associated with your Account and/or via an in-platform notification, at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the filvet Platform following the effective date of any amended Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgement of the changes. If you do not agree with any amended terms, you should cease using the Platform and may request closure of your Account by contacting our support team.
